Teacher Rona has varied areas of interest. She is a consultant Physical Therapist who wants to specialize in pediatric conditions but is also one of the in-house therapists of the UAAP. She finished her Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Santo Tomas in 2003 after having undergone a year of clinical rotation in various set-ups e.g. hospital, clinical and community-based. She has been involved in the evaluation and treatment of both pediatric and geriatric cases such as cerebral palsy, central hypotonia, dyspraxia, mental retardation, rocker bottom, global developmental delay, excessive genus valgus, muscular dystrophy, Ankylosis Spondylitis (AS) with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) and Sturge-Weber Syndrome. She has also attended seminars on techniques in myofascial release and basic first aid and life saving.

Rona has been a member of different organizations such as the Red Cross, Physical Therapy Society, UST Alumni Society and the Phyt and Tempo Dance Troupe. She is described by her friends as a superb dancer and a good cook. She also loves dogs and she plays with them on her free time. She has excellent client care skills and is good in time management.
